of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years. In them, you can find
lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time,
make a trip to the library and check it out. Ask a librarian how to get
started and how to print out the articles that you find.

The Alfred State College wrestling team fell to
both Morrisville State College, 37-18, and Mercyhurst North East, 29-16, at the
Morrisville Duals Sunday afternoon.
Tyler Shepard (Camden) and Josh Mattison (Avoca) both earned pins in the match
vs. Morrisville. Shepard (197 lbs) pinned his opponent 6:24 into the match while
Mattison (HWT) pinned his opponent in 3:55. Jeremy Bailey (Lyons) earned a
forfeit win at 133 to round out the scoring.
Shepard earned his second win of the day vs. Mercyhurst North East when he
pinned his opponent in forty five seconds. With the win he improves to 12-1 on
the season. Josh Frederick (South Jefferson) defeated his opponent 13-2 at the
174 lb weight class to earn a major decision. Greg Davis (Alfred Almond) earned
a forfeit win at 157.
