8 Schoolboys Take Crowns In Sectionals

Eight schoolboy grapplers were crowned Section V wrestling champions at Marshall High last night.

The champions and their classes are Carl Fubio, Edison Tech, 103-pound class; Ed Eagen, Edison, 120-pound class; Harold Nash, West, 133-pound class; Frank Reitano, Edison, 138-pound class; Tony D'Allesandro, Madison, 154-pound class, and Ralph Kurtz, West, 165-pound class.

Four titles will be decided today, the 95, 127, 175 pound and unlimited classes. Representing Rochester schools in these respective classes will be Tony Cantatore, Madison, Dom DiPonzio, Jeff, Paul Thomann, Edison and Ed Goodberlet, Edison.

Preliminaries in volleyball, table tennis, badminton, gymnastics and Class B wrestling will be held today at Marshall. Finals in all events are slated for 7:30 p.m. today. The only event not to be held at Marshall will be bowling. The keglers will vie at Ridge Hall at 1:30 p.m.
