TIOGA, N.Y. (WETM) – One of the state’s top wrestling coaches received a major honor Tuesday afternoon.
Kris Harrington, who led Tioga Wrestling to its sixth New York State D-II Championship in the last seven years on Saturday, was named the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) New York State Coach of The Year. The Tigers produced another overall state individual title with Declan Mckee winning at 110 pounds in Albany and Jayden Duncanson earning a runner-up finish at 138 pounds.
