Selleck at center of R-H's success

NEWS

By James Johnson
Democrat and Chronicle

(Feb. 25, 2000) -- While Geoff Selleck might not be the poster boy for Rush-Henrietta's wrestling team, he has to be in the picture.

Selleck is not the reason the Royal Comets have won the Monroe County League's competitive Eastern Division the last two seasons. But it's no coincidence Rush-Henrietta's success parallels with his development after he joined the team as a seventh-grader.

Each year Selleck, like the team, would take another step closer to becoming a power. Becoming bigger and better, turning talent and timely tricks into top-notch wins, slowly accumulating confidence.
