Elmira, NY - The Alfred State women's wrestling team finished 11th at the 2026 NCAA Women's Wrestling Regionals as the tallied 25.5 points while having one place finisher.

Dianna Pineda was the lone Pioneer to reach day two on the Regional tournament and took third in the Region. In her lone match of day two, Pineda tallied a 9-8 decision win to become the Regional Placer in program history. On day one, she started the day with a fall victory. After suffering a loss in her next match, Pineda notched a fall followed by two tech fall victories to earn a spot in day two's third place match.
