Oswego, NY – The Lakers were back home Friday evening taking on the St John Fisher Cardinals. The Lakers celebrated their seniors this evening including Kevin Arriaza, Sal Hernandez, Michael Santore, David Hammerle, Evan Cataldo, and Andrew Saylor.

HOW IT HAPPENED

Oswego got off to a strong start at 125 pounds as Juan Roque earned a 10–8 decision over Carl Santariello, setting the tone early with an aggressive win. St. John Fisher responded with wins at 133 and 141, including a tightly contested 4–2 decision at 141 that came down to late positioning. The Cardinals extended their lead through the middle weights with bonus-point victories at 149, 157, and 165.

The Lakers answered back in the upper weights, beginning at 174 where Jayden Kiell picked up an exciting 10–7 decision over Jeremy Devine. At 184, Avery Canzano delivered one of Oswego's strongest performances of the night, earning a 14–2 major decision over Charlie Rossner. St. John Fisher closed out the dual with wins at 197 and heavyweight, including a first period fall at 285.

The Lakers will have a short break and then will return home to take on Lycoming College on Sunday February 15th at 1:00 PM.
