AVOCA – Livonia grappler Myles Jarzyna tore through his competition like a hot knife through butter.
Jarzyna captured first place at the annual Walt Petersen Tournament in Avoca on Saturday.
He pinned all five of his opponents.

“Today I felt Livonia wrestled as well as we have all year. We had a season high of 30 pins as a team today at the Walt Petersen Tournament. The wrestlers are working hard at practice, and it has definitely shown. The team is gearing up to have a great week of practice before we head to our sectional tournament in Wayland on Saturday.”
