Ithaca Women’s Wrestling Split Duals vs. Utica and Elmira

ELMIRA, N.Y. – The Ithaca College women's wrestling team returned to action Wednesday evening at a tri-meet hosted by Elmira College in Speidel Gymnasium, facing Utica University and the host Eagles. The Bombers earned their second dual victory of the season over Utica with a 29–10 win but fell to Elmira, 41–1.

After dropping the opening dual to the Eagles, Ithaca responded by winning the first six bouts against Utica. Arianna Leo opened the scoring with a forfeit, followed by Delaney Bisaillon's 10–0 technical fall over Octavia Dragotta at 124 pounds. The Bombers continued to build momentum as Sophia Torian pinned Dakota House, while Emmie Moore, Sammi Meyer, and Melina Georgas each collected forfeits in their respective weight classes.

The Bombers now stand at 3-1 overall and return to action at the Utica University Round Robin at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 31.
