Le Roy captures LCAA D-I title on Wojtaszczyk, and Crissy’s Senior Knight

LCAA’s FINEST

LE ROY – Host Le Roy competed at home in our final dual of the season against Avon/Geneseo Thursday night.

Prior to the competition, Le Roy honored their two graduating seniors, Dawson Wojtaszczyk and Thomas Crissy.

Following the ceremony, the Knights carried that energy out onto the mat and sent our seniors out on a high note, with a 44-28 victory.

The victory clinched the Knights the LCAA 2025/2026 Division 1 League Championship, finishing 5-0 on the season in league duals.

Highlights for Le Roy included:

A win by technical fall for freshman Roland Goodenough.

Wins by fall for freshman Jaxson Cook, sophomore Brennan Weber, and junior Colin Greene.

Seniors Dawson Wojtaszczyk and Thomas Crissy also secured wins by fall in their final home dual.

The Knights will next compete at the Ken-Ton tournament this Saturday.
