EAST ROCHESTER — The DWC girls wrestling team finished 4-1 during Sunday’s East Rochester Dual Meet Tournament.
DWC placed second overall.

“The ladies battled hard all day coming up just short of first place. This new young team sure seems to be putting it all together and building a very strong future! Definitely a team to watch the rest of the season. Today was a great day for the Girls DWC Wrestlers. We are a super young new team and we are giving up 3 forfeits in three weight classes. This means we have to be tough in all other areas. The girls showed up and showed out today. Our lone senior Hope Amarrell stayed undefeated tacking on five more pins to her record. We have improved on the mat and as a team and will continue to learn and grow and come back each week better than before. Keep an eye on this young fierce team!"
