Palmer defeated each of the top two seeds, Oakley and Zaccone, in his weight class en route to the title, while Jordan, the No. 1 seed at 174 pounds, won with a pin in the quarterfinals against Gardner-Webb's Andrew Wilson, a 13-0 majority decision versus Davidson wrestler Jaden Hardrick in the semifinals and a 4-2 decision over App State's Will Miller in the finals.
