SPENCERPORT - For the first time in program history, Batavia/Attica wrestling took down Spencerport, 48-30, on the road on Wednesday night. Luke Gutman's pin of Spencerport's Ryan Cullen helped key the Blue Devils' victory over the Rangers, who entered last night?'s action as the 11th-ranked team in NYS Wrestling Division I, per New York Wrestling News.
"It was a great win for our program," said Batavia/Attica co-head coach Rick Stewart. "Being able to compete with a perennial legacy program shows the direction our team is going."
