Oklahoma State legendary wrestling coach Ed Gallagher died 80 years ago today, on Aug. 28, 1940.
However, his legacy continues on through his namesake on "the Rowdiest Arena in the Country," OSU's Gallagher-Iba Arena.
Gallagher coached OSU (then Oklahoma A&M) to 11 national championships when he coached the Cowboys from 1916-40.
