Your background counts in high school wrestling, and Webster Thomas senior CJ Lee certainly tried to improve his this season.

"He's only wrestled people who've have placed at states (it seems)," Webster Thomas coach Neil Cook said. "His only losses were to state-placers or state champs, that's it."

Lee, who wrestled at 120 pounds after the regular season, was 41-6 after his loss in the Section V SuperSectional Division I final to Rush-Henrietta freshman Jayden Scott on Feb. 9.
