Binghamton University wrestling coach Matt Dernlan has resigned for personal reasons, Bearcats Director of Athletics Patrick Elliott announced Wednesday.

"We want to thank Matt for his work on behalf of Binghamton wrestling," Elliott said in a media release prepared by the college. "We wish him well in his future pursuits."
