PHELPS — Heading into Thursday night's wrestling match against rival Wayne, Midlakes coach Steve Howcroft knew his team would need a big lead heading into the final two bouts.
Wayne was guaranteed 12 points between 99 and 106 pounds as Midlakes would be forced to forfeit both weights, so the host Screaming Eagles needed to build up at least a 13-point advantage to get the win.
