Amherst wrestling coach Dennis Bauer said wins were tough to come by at the Lockport Tournament held on Friday and Saturday, but he was proud of how the team competed.

"This group has been remarkable and bought in to the challenges we put before them," Bauer said. "Several team members have told me that exposing them to top competition has motivated them to train harder during the rest of the season and in the offseason. Thinking you're better than you are is never a healthy mindset."
