PENN YAN — The Geneva High School wrestling team's first year competing as an independent is producing some positive results.

The Panthers continued their upswing Tuesday night, with 170-pound Jahvon Loucks' 7-6 victory in the first sudden-victory overtime period essentially sealing the outcome. Geneva wound up scoring a 33-31 victory over host Penn Yan.
