Division I wrestling outlook: Contenders jockey for positions to make title runs

NEWS

The score indicates it wasn't close. Winning coach Jason Chase says otherwise.

It doesn't change the fact that Clarence captured the annual Border Brawl wrestling match with Lancaster in blowout 46-16 fashion last week to not only put itself in the driver's seat in the race to capture the ECIC I crown but take over the No. 1 ranking among large schools in Western New York. A couple one or two point matches went the Red Devils' way.

"Everything we needed to go our way went our way," said Chase. "It was a lot closer dual meet than the score showed."
