It's been talked about for years and soon, it will be reality.
Starting in late January 2018, the New York State Public High School Athletic Association will crown a state dual meet champion in wrestling. Two of them, actually, as the state will identify team champions in Division I and Division II.
NYSPHAA's Executive Committee passed the proposal Wednesday.
