The Niagara-Wheatfield Falcons made a statement on Saturday, winning the Niagara Frontier Wrestling Officials Association tournament at Niagara County Community College. They totaled 211.5 points, 30 points higher than second-place finisher Mexico High School (181.5). Lockport came in third with 164 points.
"They wrestled very well (Saturday)," said coach Rick Sweeney. "They're coming together real well as a team, encouraging each other. They got some momentum today and that was huge."
