WRESTLING. The C.A. matmen, under the leadership of their new coach Weldon Canough, finished the wrestling season tied for second place. The matmen, at first thought a weak team, quickly shaped up under Mr. Canaugh and ended the season with a league record of 5 wins and 2 losses. With only 4 seniors, Phil Ladue, Don Cook, Bruce West, and Jeff Brown on the team, next year's team will be the main threat in the League. Dick Hadsell, a sophomore, was the only Section 5 winner, copping the 98 pound title. SOURCE: 1966 Adademian.
