BUFFALO, NY - Jason Estevez of the University at Buffalo wrestling team was named the Mid-American Conference Wrestler of the Week after an outstanding weekend.

Estevez earned a pair of first period pins to go 2-0 over the weekend in wins against Columbia and Sacred Heart. Estevez needed only 1:08 to pin Jacob Macalolooy, a 10-win wrestler from Columbia, on Saturday. On Sunday, he recorded two take downs and a 4-point near fall before pinning Adrian Nelson 1:40 into the match.
