ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.
We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and
articles as well. Many college and public libraries have microform copies
of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years. In them, you can find
lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time,
make a trip to the library and check it out. Ask a librarian how to get
started and how to print out the articles that you find.

The Batavia wrestlers had a tough year in 1995-96. They were led by senior
captains Rick Stewart, Geoff Hilchey, Jaret Brzezniak, and Larry Kitt.
Batavia's lack to fill the weight classes, due to the low numbers, held them
back during dual meets. They finished 1-7 in league and 3-8 overall. Rick
Stewart led the team this year, breaking many school records. Stewart broke the
total wins record after earning his 100th career win. He also became the
all-time leader in pins.
Next season the team will have to go through a rebuilding year, returing only
six wrestlers with experience. Future leaders of the team should be junior Eric
Hilchey, and sophomores Nick Ubaney, Nate Buchholz, and Aaron Long. (Batavia
