Our 1992-93 wrestling team had a 6-8 record this season. During the season the team attended many tournaments including the Genesee Valley placing 11th out of 34 teams, then at Newark placing 6th out of 11, the Spectator Classic held in Alfred and placing 3rd out of 10, the LCAA placing 3 out of 13 and the Class B Sectional Tournament placing 11th out of 19.

Receiving awards this year were: Jason Garwood with the most pins (17), the fastest pin by Toby Jamison in 25 seconds. The most improved was Todd Goho, most dedicated Ben Kysor, the hardest worker was Andy VanAuken, and last but not forgotten the MVP of the 1992-93 wrestling team is senior, Jody Swink.

There is also another award called the Classic Wrestler. This award is received by a wrestler who accumulates the most points as an individual at tournament and dual meets throughout the season. The recipient of this award goes to Jason Garwood with 176 points accumulated this season.

This is the final season for seniors Jody Swink, Ken Morsch, and Any VanAuken. Next year these guys will surely by missed by all. Good Luck and Congratulations! (Dansville yearbook, 1993)
