ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.
We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and
articles as well. Many college and public libraries have microform copies
of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years. In them, you can find
lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time,
make a trip to the library and check it out. Ask a librarian how to get
started and how to print out the articles that you find.

The Indians won the Livingston County Division II championship with a 5-0 record
and 9-1 record in the league overall. Including non-league opponents, the team's
record was 12-1 for 1989-90.
In tournaments, the team finished 3rd at the Genesee Valley in Geneseo, 3rd at
the Newark Invitational, and 2nd at the Counties in Warsaw. Tournament titles
went to Bill Miller (155) in three appearances, to Pat Albro (138) and Mike
Uveino (177) at Counties, and to Dan Beaumont (105) at Newark.
Seniors Pat Albro, Bill Miller, and Mike Uveino achieved undefeated dual meet
seasons (repeating last year's feat), while sophomores Brian Jines and Dan
Beaumont and seniors Andy Davis and Brian Maines lost only once.
In the coming season, besides those seniors already mentioned, the team will
miss senior Jeff Simpson, a strong performer at 167 (9-2, two third-place
finishes and a fourth). Varsity returnees in addition to Beaumont and Jines will
include John Forbes, Jeremy Rowe, Jeff Szucs, Tim Stoffer, and Jeff and Jason
Hedges.
Both teamwise and individually the team can be very proud of its
accomplishments. They were voted Number 6 in the final Democrat and Chronicle
small school poll and they missed an opportunity to go undefeated by a mere two
points. Their hard work and dedication did much to make Letchworth proud of
their efforts.
