The Blue Devils Varsity
Wrestling Team, under the direction of Coach Embt, finished the 1982-1983 season
with a record of 9-5. The Captains were Chong Clark, Todd Ferington and Randy
Nutty. Randy was also voted Most Valuable Wrestler of the year. The team
consisted of five seniors, six juniors, two sophomores, two freshman and one
eighth grader.
The team worked very hard and as a result brought home many trophies from the
Roy-Hart, Batavia, and Genesee Regional tournaments.
The long season created many fond memories. Wild bus rides, food wars, sleeping
on bleachers, and "tickle wars" were just a few of the fun times we shared.
