ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.
We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and
articles as well. Many college and public libraries have microform copies
of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years. In them, you can find
lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time,
make a trip to the library and check it out. Ask a librarian how to get
started and how to print out the articles that you find.

Led by Co-Captains
Bill Birecree and Chris Roncone,
the Varsity grapplers showed great improvement during the '77-'78 season, as
they finished the season with 6 wins and 8 losses. They provided much excitement
for the fans as they posted four victories in a row during the season. The most
memorable victories were both one point decisions over Edison (27-26) and
Charlotte (30-39). Wrestlers who placed well in the Greece Christmas Tournament
were Dan Holmes (3rd), Bill
Birecree (3rd), and Chris Roncone
(4th). Cardinal Mooney was this year's host for the City-Catholic Tournament and
the following wrestlers placed for Mooney: Chris Roncone
(2nd), Custy Panetta (3rd), Dan
Holmes and Joe Rodgers
(4th). Since only two seniors graduate from this year's squad, we are looking
