E-mail corrections or additions to info@armdrag.com.

ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.  We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and articles as well.  Many college and public libraries have microform copies of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years.  In them, you can find lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time, make a trip to the library and check it out.  Ask a librarian how to get started and how to print out the articles that you find.

Eastridge's First Undefeated Wrestling Team

This year our Lancer Matmen accomplished an unblemished season with a 16-0 record. As winners of both the Webster and Eastridge Christmas tournaments, they brought real excitement back to Eastridge wrestling.

Even the mightiest teams fell to the Lancers such as Pioneer, the powerful Section VI team who had lost only once in three years, Spencerport, who hadn't been beaten in four years by any school, and East Rochester, who is always tough. This was truly the best team ever to hit the mats from Eastridge.

The Lancers get in their huddle.

Individual records were impressive: Roy Spring, 17-8; Jim Polsinelli, 24-1-1; Dave Polsinelli, 24-2; Jim Prince, 20-6; Rick Lembo, 20-5; Jeff Freedman, 24-1-1; Rick Coffaro, 19-3; Parker Corts, 20-2; Ed Joseph, 17-4; and the mighty heavyweight Brad Roth, 16-1-1. (Eastridge yearbook, 1973)
