making his Varsity debut at the head wrestling position, asserted his winning
ways and guided the team to a successful season. The tradition of Mooney as a
feared wrestling power was upheld. The C.M. grapplers molded a 10-3 record,
finishing second in both the Christmas and City-Catholic Tournaments." ―
