ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.
We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and
articles as well. Many college and public libraries have microform copies
of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years. In them, you can find
lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time,
make a trip to the library and check it out. Ask a librarian how to get
started and how to print out the articles that you find.

The 1970-71
grapplers gave Livingston County teams a glimpse of things to come.
Although Le Roy had a young and largely inexperienced team this
year, they showed the potential for a championship team.
Centered around a nucleus of three substantial seniors, the team
brought many exciting matches to Le Roy spectators. The season was
successful in that the young members of the team gained valuable
experience. Le Roy had two fine wrestlers, Art Aramino and Tony
Gugino, going to the Sectionals. Both of these skillful matmen
earned a third place finish at the Livingston County Tournament.
Coach Brooks' training has already shown its value to Le Royans. Due
to his expert coaching, Le Roy already has power for next year. Paul
Wallace, Jerry Joy, and Paul Gangi should lead our grapplers to
future victories. (O-At-Kan, 1971)
