ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.
We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and
articles as well. Many college and public libraries have microform copies
of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years. In them, you can find
lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time,
make a trip to the library and check it out. Ask a librarian how to get
started and how to print out the articles that you find.

C.A.'s 1965 wrestling team had a major
rebuilding job this year, and were hampered all season by
inexperience. Nevertheless, the team showed real improvement and
demonstrated obvious ability. Bill Winship at 95 lbs., Fred
Ledgerwood at 127, Tony Addante at 138, and Gary Marvin, the heavy,
all had fine seasons and were the vanguard for what success did come
to the Braves. Addante accomplished the remarkable feat of capturing
his Section 5 crown for the third straight year. Previously he had
won the title at 112 lbs., 120 lbs., and 133 lbs., to give him an
enviable record. (Academian, 1965)
