ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.  We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and articles as well.  Many college and public libraries have microform copies of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years.  In them, you can find lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time, make a trip to the library and check it out.  Ask a librarian how to get started and how to print out the articles that you find.

Spencerport Central's wrestling team scored 68 points last night on the Rangers mats to outdistance three other opponents in a four team tourney.

Trailing the Rangers were Medina (with 63 points), Canandaigua (51) and Seneca Falls (28). Doug Drake of Spencerport registered his 26th straight victory over a two year period in the 127-pound class to head a contingent of four undefeated Rangers.

Teammates Allen Bachers (103-lb. class) won his sixth straight, while Paul Caiazzo (133) and Pete Logan (165) each chalked up their eighth straight.

Most interesting match of the day saw Logan decision Medina's Dan Payne, 5-2, in the finals. The close, fast moving match saw Logan make the initial takedown and score a pair of escapes, while Payne got credit for a reverse.
