Spencerport Wins Crown In County Wrestling Meet

Spencerport Central won the Monroe County wrestling title for the second straight year, and four individuals retained crowns in the finals last night at Spencerport.

The Spencerport team won with a total of 94 points. Then followed Webster with 91, Rush-Henrietta with 35, Brockport with 7 and Hilton with 0.

Retaining titles were Bernie Whittman of Spencerport in the 95-pound class; Dave Egan of Spencerport in the 127-pound class and Ernie Tack of Webster in the 190-pound class.

The Section 5 Class B semifinals will be held tonight at Spencerport.
