Alexander Central captured the Genesee-Orleans B-C wrestling
tournament in Alexander Saturday, garnering 77 points. Kendall
Central took second place with 43 followed by Alden with 25 and the
State School for the Blind with 14.
Alexander wrestlers won 10 of the 12 events, giving them the biggest
representation in the Section 5 tournament. Alden and the State
School each had one winner. The victors go to the sectionals with
the semifinals in Spencerport tonight and the finals on Saturday at
Brockport State Teachers College.
