ArmDrag.com is looking for volunteers to help populate the Archives.  We're not only looking for results, but tournament brackets, photos, and articles as well.  Many college and public libraries have microform copies of complete newspapers dating back over 100 years.  In them, you can find lots of wrestling results. If you enjoy doing research, and you have some time, make a trip to the library and check it out.  Ask a librarian how to get started and how to print out the articles that you find.

Tech High wrestlers continue to show class in the city Public High School championship meet in Tech High gymnasium, no less than ten of the seventeen Tech men to survive the first day's wrestling emerging winners in yesterday's matches, which went through the semi-final round. Of the eleven West High athletes who survived the first round, only two remain, while three Orientals of the seven to come through the first round are still in the running. Monroe has one lone survivor in the finals.

The state of affairs assures Tech High of four champions with no gamble at all. The Red and Gray athletes will not carry off the major share of the titles in the nine classes. One victory in the other five classes will give Tech the big edge.

The matches yesterday were marked by upsets, the biggest of which was the defeat of Felli, West High, by Zimmer, Tech athlete. It was the first defeat of the year for the Occidental matman and went into extra periods before the judge's awarded the honors to Zimmer.

The defeat of Coccuzzi, West, in the 147-pound class by Houghtling, East, was another bout that upset the dope bucket. Previous to this match Coccuzzi had gained two wins over the East High boy. Coccuzzi starting out strong but Houghtling caught him in a hold which Cocuzzi could not break and the East High boy held his opponent down to win.

Polito, of East, was another man that was caught in a trick hold and he dropped his first bout of the year to Golamb of Tech. He was thrown in record time, having his shoulders touched to the mat in thirty-nine seconds.Earl Feary, Tech's star grappler, won two matches. Feary ran up against two tough men, especially Mansfield of West, in the first bout who extended Feary to the limit to win. The outcome of the match was never in doubt, although Feary had a tough time in holding the slippery Occidental, winning by experience.
